Ukrainian drone attack on the Kremlin

In the early hours of 3 a.m. local time, the Kremlin side said that the Kiev regime’s attempt to attack the Kremlin’s presidential residence with a drone in the early hours of the day was an act of terror and an assassination attempt against the Russian president. Russian President Vladimir Putin was not injured in the attack. The day’s May 9 Victory Day parade on Moscow’s Red Square will be held as scheduled, and Russia reserves the right to retaliate where and when it sees fit.

Moscow Mayor Sobyanin said on March 3 that countermeasures and controls on drones would be tightened and their use in Moscow would be banned without special approval from local authorities, a decision taken to prevent unauthorised use of drones and to avoid hampering the work of law enforcement agencies.

However, Ukrainian presidential spokesman Nikiforov denied Ukraine’s involvement in the attack on the Kremlin.

There was also a drone attack on the Iraqi prime minister’s residence two years ago. The safety of leaders must be guaranteed and threats from drones must be taken seriously.
