Threats posed by drones to civil airports

The rapid development of drone technology has brought many conveniences, but it has also triggered new security challenges. Civil airports serve as important hubs for air transportation, but often drone enthusiasts go so far as to fly their drones over the airports, exposing the airports to the serious threat of drone intrusion. This has caused headaches for airport staff.

The potential risks of drones around civil airports are mainly reflected in three aspects: firstly, the collision risk, where collisions between drones and aircrafts may lead to serious safety accidents; secondly, the navigational interference risk, where drones may interfere with the normal navigation and communication systems of aircrafts; and lastly, the risk of malicious attacks, where drones may be used to launch terrorist attacks on civil aircrafts or airport facilities.

In the face of these challenges, we recommend produtos to our customers that are suitable for their use to address the issue.
