Breaking: drone attack on Iraqi PM’s residence

In the early morning hours of 7 November 2021, Iraqi security services issued a statement saying that a drone ‘packed with explosives’ had attempted to attack Iraqi Prime Minister al-Kadhimi’s residence in Baghdad’s ‘Green Zone’, but that the attempt was unsuccessful and that al-Kadhimi was in good condition.
