In a media interview, French Air Force Chief of Staff Guadix said that they have intercepted about 40 unauthorised drones since the week before the opening of the Paris Olympics on 18 July.

Most of these drones stopped when they flew over the competition venues or around the Olympic village, and the military used technical means to intercept them. And according to the investigation, all of the owners of the drones that have been intercepted so far were trying to capture some video footage from different angles, and nothing more violent.
